Femke’s Method & Philosophy

To form a method within a practice….

A philosophy is or should be largely based on conviction, and conviction can only be realized by virtue of “the 10,000 hour principle”. It is perhaps easier to attach (oneself) to an ideology or simply continue to follow the path of least resistance when in reality we live in a world of constant change.

My line of work is especially dynamic in the sense that it involves movement but it is also dynamic in terms of discovery within the field of science and application of human movement and evolutionary biomechanics.

My approach & method reflects the need for constant refinement in pursuit of excellence – that is what being a practitioner is all about.

I am dedicated to my practice, making a conscious effort not to repeat last year’s methods unless of course they work.

I enjoy developing and testing movement models and build upon a concept acquired with an attempt to make it work or flow better.

With the utmost respect for human function & physiology and not for the sake of creativity, miraculous and empowering results can be achieved.
